Success Story:
I am an 18 year old female from Camden city on probation for a violation of probation on a juvenile charge of aggravated assault. I enjoy helping others and doing positive things. When I came to RAFHA Inc., I didn’t want to take time out of my day to attend the program. But after meeting the other girls that were in the same situations as me it was easier to open up. Attending the program was a great experience for me.
I learned how to communicate, respect and humble myself and change my ways. I also learned how to surround myself with positive surroundings. RAFHA Inc. helped me to get focus and be motivated in my life choices.
I traveled to the US Social Forum in Detroit and spoke about my experience in the Empowering Youth for Success program. I worked in a community business and learned some great skills. This year I graduated from probation and RAFHA Inc. and presently am in school for a career in nursing. RAFHA Inc. changed my life and I could never forget the great staff.
Thanks,
BP (Camden City)
A Mother’s Success Story:
I am a mother of a 15 year old female on probation for fighting in school. The groups at RAFHA were helpful for my daughter. It has changed her life and I am grateful that there was a program personally for her to address some issues. She could not have made it through some tough times without the staff at RAFHA Inc.
Thanks for changing my life and my daughter’s life. It has been all for the best I could not have made it through the bad times without RAFHA’s support. My daughter’s communication with me has improved.
Thanks,
AD (Gloucester County)
Young Success Story:
I am a 13 year old female from Camden County (Sicklerville area).  I really enjoy the girls group. It helps me understand the problems I have with boys and girls.
And it helps me understand their outlook on life. I felt myself changing in the group and I could relate to the topics that were discussed. I learned how to be a friend and build positive relationships with my mother. It’s a process but the group gave me the skills. This was a great experience for me.
Thanks,
AB (Camden County)
